BritCham Indonesia, the UK Government’s Financial Sector and Intellectual Property (FSIP), and Rouse are delighted to have hosted the Focus Group Discussion on E-Commerce Regulatory Regime and IP Protection in Indonesia.
This Focus Group Discussion acted as a follow up to the British Embassy workshop in February 2020 on IP protection and e-commerce in Indonesia. The Focus Group Discussion brought together the key private sector groups and government ministries responsible for IP in e-commerce. The session aimed to discuss the main gaps in Indonesia’s e-commerce IP regulatory regime which have been identified following the workshop. The status of e-commerce IP infrigement in Indonesia as a fast growing problem and possible solutions and next steps were also discussed.
